Bobby Ray Humbyrd, 68, of Woodland died Oct. 24, 2011, at home.

He was born Aug. 10, 1943, in Broken Arrow, Okla., to Clinton and Irene Humbyrd. At the age of 3 the family moved to Woodland. He attended Green Mountain School through the fifth grade and when the family moved to the Woodland bottoms he attended Woodland High School.

At 18, Bobby was drafted into the Army and served two tours in Vietnam. In 1971 he married the love of his life, Susan and they settled down in Woodland and had two children, Tyson and Kara.

Bobby spent most of his life working the dairy farms in Woodland milking cows. Bobby loved the outdoors and spent time fishing and hunting with family and friends. Later in life he loved spending time with friends at the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Moose lodge and most of all, his grandchildren.

His father and eldest sister preceded Bobby in death.

He is survived by his mother, his wife, a sister, his children and grandchildren.

Bobby was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

A graveside service is planned for 1 p.m. Thursday at Frank Abel Cemetery.
