Bea was born in Coal City, which is now Lake City, on July 25, 1907. When Bea was a little girl she used to drop little pebbles in the cracks of the floor of their wagon to hit the road. Bea also played in the Clinch River in Tennessee. She moved to First Creek, Perry County, Kentucky with her family before 1920. After her marriage to Roy Morgan in July 1922 they lived in Hazard, KY. They also lived in Akron and Cincinnati Ohio. Their children were Roy (1), Helen, Charles, Jack, Betty, Lois, Charlene, Joe and Mary Ann.
