She is survived by two sons, William Edward Brock and wife Agnes Holland and James David Brock and wife Doris Bishop, both of Rose Hill, one sister, Wilma B. Lanier and husband D. C. of Surf City, one daughter-in-law, Rachel Rich Brock of Rose Hill, seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.
Born September 19, 1914 in Duplin County, Mrs. Brock was the daughter of the late David Edward and Anna L. Wiggins Brown and a member of Island Creek Baptist Church. She loved gardening, quilting, crocheting and cooked the best chicken. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James William Brock, one son, Lenwood Earl Brock, two brothers, Cecil Brown and Norman Brown and one sister, Mildred Register.
Casket bearers will be Jimmy Brock, Earl Brock, Wray Brock, Randy Brock, Freddy Brock and Kevin Hines.
