May 18, 2001. Beloved husband of Alice (nee Roelofs) Simril; dear father of Scott, Mark and the late Christopher Simril; step father of Lyman Jellema, Alice Jellema and Joanna (Ronald) Kleppinger; grandfather of Michael and John Kleppinger; brother of the late Dr. Wayne Simril.

A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 3105 Main St, Buffalo.

Vern was a research Chemist at Dupont for over 45 years and was instrumental in developing Tedlar and Milar plastic. Vern was a supporter in the Score organization. Arrangements by the REGER FUNERAL HOME.
