St. Cloud Times, Mon. Dec. 20, 1937, p. 8. Mrs. Hubert Pung, 86, died Sunday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schoenberg, of Spring Hill, after an illness caused by her advanced years. Her husband died many years ago. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Spring Hill Catholic church and interment will be made in the parish cemetery. Surviving children are Mrs. Schoenberg; Mrs. Christ Braun, Lake Henry; Frank, Spring Hill; Peter, in Texas; Arnold, Hubert and Mike, Calio ND. Mrs. Pung was the last of the children of George Rieder, a pioneer of LeSauk township. She resided in this county since the earliest pioneer days, and was one of the first residents of the community of Spring Hill.
