Elmer Thomas Spitler, age 80, of Mayfield, KY died at 11:04 AM Saturday October 30, 2010, at the Green Acres Healthcare Facility in Mayfield, KY. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, a U.S. Army Veteran and was a retired plant supervisor for the former Roman Ceramics in Mayfield.

He is survived by:

Daughter - Terry (Walton) Jones of Mayfield, KY
Daughter - Tandy (Gregory) England of Mayfield, KY
Daughter - Vena Potts (Gene Gossum) of Wingo, KY

Arrangements are being handled by R. D. Brown Funeral Home, 1223 West Broadway, Mayfield, KY 42066. Funeral Services will be held at Brown Funeral Home on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Rev James Miller and Rev. Don Hendley officiating. Friends may call after 12:00 Noon Sunday October 31, 2010 at the funeral home. The body will be cremated. Burial of the cremains will be in the Macedonia Church Cemetery at a later date.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Gideons International.
