Mrs. Sylvia Hanson, 74, a well-known resident of Havre, died Thursday in a local hospital following a long illness.
Rosary will be recited at the Holland and Bonne Chapel at 7 pm. Sunday and funeral Mass will be at S. Jude's Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Monday with interment in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Hanson was born in Raynesford, July 21,1907. She attended schools at Raynesford and Ursuline Academy in Great Falls.
Mrs. Hanson also attended Montana State College.
She was married to Jack P. Hanson in 1927 at Raynesford. They lied in Bozeman late coming to Havre.
Mr. Hanson died on August 2,1975.
Mrs. Hanson was a member of St. Jude's Parish, St. Cabrini's Band and the Altar Society She was a member of the Scared Heart Hospital and Northern Montana Hospital auxiliaries.
She enjoyed bowling and golfing.
Mrs. Hanson is survived by a son Jack W. Hanson, Havre, a brother Cyril Colarchick, Helena; five sisters, Mrs. Duwaine Oakland, Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Walter (Isabelle) O'Brien, Seattle, Mrs. Max (Angie) Harrington, Bend, Ore., Mrs. Maurie (Loretta) Devlin, Great Falls and Mrs. Leo (Irene) Adams, Ralston, Neb., 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial will be established and announcement made.
