Thelma Cowart Brunson Beasley, 92, of Savannah, Ga., died Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Spanish Oaks Retreat/Hospice.
She was born in Leefield, Ga. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple, where she was a member of the Chapel Bible Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker and a buyer for women's apparel at Belk from 1964-1969.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Paul Solomon Brunson Jr. and J. Carl Beasley; parents, Nathaniel and Nellie Cowart; three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation: 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at Calvary Baptist Temple with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bob Dimmitt officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m. in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Statesboro, Ga.
