Langdon Brown

Dies Suddenly

Langdon A. Brown, 58, Wisconsin Dells, passed away Tuesday while working at Badger Ordinance Works in Baraboo. Cause of death was a heart attack.

The lifetime Dells resident will be buried in Lake Delton cemetery. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fedderly Funeral home with Rev. Richard Mohl officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, the former Lucille LaMar, and two sisters, Mrs. Newton Landt, Wisconsin Dells, and Mrs. Delores Luedecker, Lake Delton.

For 17 years Mr. Brown was a switchboard operator at Wisconsin Power and Light company. He owned and operated Brown’s Restaurant for four years, and owned and operated Oak Villa for 18 years. That property was recently sold and is the current location of Senior Citizen apartments.

Mr. Brown had worked at Badger Ordinance for three years. He was a past master of Columbia Masonic Lodge No. 124.
