MULLINS - Mrs. Amelia Catherine Brown, 75 years old, died Tuesday morning in Mullins hospital. She had been in declining health for four years.

Funeral services will be held at Gapway Baptist Church at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. C. W. Wilkes. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A resident of the Gapway community, she was born in Marion County, a daughter of the late Hugh G. and Martha Williamson Collins. She was the widow of the late Robert W. Brown.

Surviving are four sons, Luther Brown of Charleston, John Brown, Neal Brown and Arbie Brown, all of Mullins; four daughters, Mrs. J. W. Martin, Mrs. H. B. Collins, Mrs. Edward Alford and Mrs. Arthur Merritt, all of Mullins; three brothers, John R. Collins, H. Wade Collins and Neil C. Collins, all of Mullins; 41 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
