MULLINS - Harry Conway Collins, 56, died Thursday in a Mullins hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident September 16 in Marion County.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Gapway Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.

Mr. Collins was born in Marion County, a son of the late Daniel Stephen Collins and Mrs. Mary Catherine Baxley Collins. He was a member of Gapway Baptist Church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Annie Lewis Collins of Mullins; three sons, Connie Ray Collins of Nichols, Jimmy F. Collins of Florence and Harry Ronald Collins of Mullins; a step-daughter, Mrs. Robert (Grace) Brown of Mullins; two brothers, Harvey W. Collins of Mullins and Oscar D. Collins of Winston-Salem, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Carl Ellis, Mrs. H. Berry Brown and Mrs. Carl F. Kuhn, all of Mullins; and 5 grandchildren.
