Hastings resident Theresa Louise Phillips, 73, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebr. Theresa was born February 7, 1938 in Andover, MA., the daughter of Philip Isidore and Mary Bernadette (Gallant) Gaudet.
Theresa grew up and attended school in Andover. In 1976 Theresa left Massachusetts to live in Indiana, California and settled in Hastings in 1986. Theresa Married Garry E. Phillips on September 23, 2000 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Hastings. Her hobbies included Crafts, Cooking, and she took great pleasure in gardening. Theresa enjoyed her family, she was a true Monarch. She treasured all family gatherings whether it was a birthday party or holiday dinner she was there spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
Theresa is survived by her children, Richard F. Snider, Robert J. Snider and wife Nancy, William P. Snider Sr., Anita A. Snider and boyfriend Bob Storehalder all of Hastings; step children, Barbara J. Burrack and husband Jim of Ankeny, Iowa, Tracy L. Thomas and husband Jim of Le Grand, Iowa, Kelley S. McCune and husband Scott of Hastings; grandchildren, Robert Jr., Shawn, Crystle, William Jr., Jason, Christina and fiancé Matthew, Lisa and fiancé Drew, and Malinda; great grandchildren, Makynzie, Joseph, Makynna, Liam, and Emma
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and husband Garry.
Inurnment was in the Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE.
