MONROE ANDERSON DIES
Monroe Alonzo Anderson, 68, of Granite City died at an E. St. Louis Hospital February 26.
He was a chauffeur for the East Side Levee Board. He was a former Ava resident.
Surviving are a son Homer of Granite City and two grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Ava with Rev. Roy Reeves officiating. Burial was in Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Services were under the auspices of the Wilson Funeral Home in Ava.
