GOAD, Charles E. Jr., 75, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 20, 2000 after suffering from Parkinson's Disease for 18 years. He was retired from NCR with 45 years service and was a member of Rosalind Hills Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday from Evergreen Burial Park's Chapel of Light, with the Rev. Tom Stocks officiating. Interment will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Building Fund of Rosalind Hills Baptist Church, (2711 Laburnum Avenue, S. W., Roanoke, Va. 24015). Friends may call at Evergreen's Chapel of Light from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
