Mrs. Zulan Hicks
Mrs. Zular W. Hicks of Dixie Inn died Saturday, March 13 in the Town and Country Nursing Home after an extended illness.
She was 79.
She was a member of the Baptist church.
Funeral services were Sunday, March 14 at 3 p.m. in the Rose-Neath Chapel with the Bros. Don McCormick and Richard Raines officiating. Burial was in the Old Castor Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Arnold L. Hicks, Dubberly; two daughters, Mrs. Ida H. Wagner and Mrs. Cora H. Ates, both of Minden; three sisters, Lovey Peterson, Minden; Lular Traylor, Shreveport; Zazie W. McLaughlin, Shreveport; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hicks' grandsons served as pallbearers.
