Levi G. Boone.
Levi G. Boone, a direct descendant of Squire Boone, brother of Daniel Boone, died yesterday at the age of 79 in his home at 6647 Onarga avenue. Mr. Boone, a retired jewelry engraver, was a member of an old Chicago family. His grandfather, Dr. Levi Daniel Boone, was mayor of Chicago in 1855. Surviving are his widow, Hattie, three daughters, and two sons. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at 6754 Northwest highway. Burial will be in Rosehill cemetery.
