Warren Davis, resident of this county since 1914, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Cora Pilcher, south of Shawnee, Saturday, aged nearly 85 years.

He was born at Eaton, Missouri; the son of David Davis and Margaret Boyles. He was married January 26, 1865, at Eaton to Isabel S. Glenn, who survives him. Surviving also are three daughters, Mrs. Cora Pilcher of Shawnee, Mrs. V. G. Harbaugh of Oakland, California; and Mrs. Virginia Davidson of Elk City, Kansas; two sons, Dr. A. G. Davis of Logan, Kansas and J. W. Davis of Grand Island, Nebraska.
