Doug worked for many years at Dominion Glass, Oxford Automotive (Wallaceburg & Chatham) and Lambton Generating Station where he retired. He was a hard worker and always provided for his family. Before his health began to fail, he loved to hunt and fish and camp with his family and friends. He was a member of Great Lakes Campers, Kentario Kampers and Knights of Pythias for many years. After their 25th Anniversary they took a yearly trip with their long time friends Shirley & Lloyd and he had wonderful memories of their travels. In his later years he loved sitting in his backyard along the river watching nature and the family fishing and boating. He liked to play the lottery, enjoyed country music and collecting guitars and violins. Doug was outgoing and had a wonderful sense of humor right to the end. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends and little dog "Baby Face Howie".
