Amy Sue Armbrister was born December 8, 1955, in Louisville KY, the daughter of Thomas Wilford Etienne and Nancy Lee (Middleton) Etienne. She kept her appointment to be with our Lord when she departed this life on July 4, 2011, in Hugo OK. Amy married Donald Armbrister on August 28, 1982, in Louisville. Amy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. More than anything she loved spending time with her four grandchildren, family, and friends. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and friend to many.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Jessica Starr.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Bert Armbrister of Hugo; sons Russell Armbrister and Dusty Allen Starr, both of Hugo; daughters, Jackie Starr and Lorena Armbrister, both of Hugo; brothers Michael Etienne of Louisville KY and Melbern Bang of Hugo; grandchildren Dusty Allen Starr, Jr., Shirley Faye Starr, James Edward Allen Starr, and Savannah Alicen Trendena Starr; many other family and friends; and many children she adopted along the way.
