Arriving in Vietnam 3 January 1968 Kenneth was assigned to Alpha Battery, 1st Battalion, 13th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, at Khe Sanh Combat Base.
The base was fired upon by hostile forces with rocket fire. Kenneth died as a result of multiple fragmentation wounds to the body from hostile rocket fire.
Survived by his parents, William and Mary Allen Jr of 6301 Desmond Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio.
