Funeral services for Henry Heman Burnitt, 93, will be at 3:30 p.m. today, Jan. 18, in Hixson Funeral Home. The Revs. George L. Glass Jr. and David Parker will officiate. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery of Dry Creek. Visitation is from 8 a.m. Mr. Burnitt died at 1:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2000, in a local hospital. A native of Oberlin, he lived in the Shiloh Community most of his life. He worked several years constructing homes and fireplaces in the DeRidder-Mittie area. He retired after 16 years at Fort Polk as a carpenter and electrician. He was a member of Welcome Pentecostal Church of Dry Creek. Survivors include his wife, Neoma Francis Burnitt; one daughter, Eunice ''Ann'' Harper of DeRidder; one sister, Addie Marcantel of Kinder; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
