Neillsville - Robert Bruce Armitage, 60, Route 4, Neillsville, died at the Neillsville Hospital Thursday, November 9, 1950, at 11:15 P.M. He had been hospitalized for the past two weeks.

Funeral services were held at the Georgas Funeral Home at 1:30 P.M. today, November 13, 1950, and at the Christle Methodist Church at 2:15 O'clock. Burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery with the Rev. Virgil W. Nulton officiating.

Mr. Armitage was born to parents Willis K. and Susannah Armitage, on a farm in the town of Weston April 17, 1890. He was married at Neillsville to Eleanor Schummel September 4, 1912. He lived on the farm where he was born his entire lifetime, being educated in the Christie Rural School. He was Assessor for the town of Weston for several years and also served as Master of the York Grange and as a member of the Forman School Board for a number of years.

He was a member of the Christie Methodist Church and the York Grange. He is survived by his wife, two children, Dale and Mrs. Clarence (Dorothy) Ratsch and five grandchildren. One sister, who died in infancy, and a Brother, Willis, preceded him in death.
