POWELL, Mrs. Margaret Marie age 74, a lifelong resident of Dayton, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton.

A retired employee of Kettering Memorial Hospital after a number of years of service. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Sr. & Ella Tripp; daughter, Brendalyn M. Powell-Scurry; 1 brother & 4 sisters.

Survivors include 1 brother, Thomas Jr. (Patricia) Tripp; 2 sisters, Bernice Tripp, Debra (Willie "Fish") Davenport; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held 12 noon, Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 502 Pontiac Street. Rev. Carlton Williams officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.

Visitation 9 am Saturday at the church until the time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to the HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 North Gettysburg Avenue.
