Fulton - Carl L. Dulaney, 82, died Jan. 30, 2009, at his home. He was born Oct. 31, 1925, to Quitman and Pearl Wilemon Dulaney. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a mechanic and he worked for the City of Fulton as street superintendent. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge while serving in France. He was an avid fisherman.
Services were Feb. 1 at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with burial e in Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery.
Survivors included three sons, Larry K. Dulaney (Fayellen) of Fulton, Donnie Ray Dulaney (Patti) of Tuscumbia, Ala., and Chris Dulaney (Dena) of Fulton; one brother, Bo Dulaney of Jackson; two sisters, Christine Dulaney and Shelby Spencer, both of Fulton; four grandchildren, Tracey Whitehead, Amy Dulaney, Joel Dulaney and Daniel Dulaney; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Dulaney, and a sister, Shirley Boyd.
