MRS STANBERY'S DEATH.
The Widow of Ohio's First Attorney-General Passes Away.

Day before yesterday, at the Gibson House, Mrs Cecilia B Stanbery died. She was the widow of General Henry Stanbery, who was the first Attorney-General of Ohio, after that office was created in 1846. He was then practicing law at Lebanon, Ohio. Afterward he was appointed Attorney-General of the United States by President Johnson. He resigned that office and became one of Mr Johnson's attorneys at his impeachment trial. After that he was nominated for the United States Supreme Court bench, but was not confirmed.

Mrs Stanbery was sixty-five years old. Her near relatives are a niece, the wife of George W Neff, of Newport and a nephew, Edward Stanbery, of Avondale. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at eleven o'clock, from the chapel at Spring Grove Cemetery, where the remains will be interred.
