Donald and his father owned and operated Bennett & Son Equipment, where he operated and repaired dozers and heavy equipment for many years. He took pride in his craft, as well as his shop, and was a master mechanic.
Donald is survived by one daughter, Debbie Rattan and husband Mark, of Ravenna; three grandchildren, Morgan Power and husband Craig of Royse City, TX; Tyler Rattan and wife Abby of Hendrix, OK; and Logan Rattan of Greenville, TX; three great-grandchildren; Teaghan and Blakely Power, and Tucker Rattan. He is also survived by one aunt Margaret Sifford of Lubbock, TX and several cousins.
He was proceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 51 years, Cora Sue Bennett, and brothers Jerry and Wayne Bennett.
