Actor. He was the brother of actor Barry Fitzgerald, and often he appeared in John Ford's films. Among others he played in "The Plough and the Stars" (1936), "The Long Voyage Home" (1940), "How Green Was My Valley" (1941), "Gentleman Jim" (1952), "National Velvet" (1944), "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon" (1949, "The Quiet Man" (1952) and "For the Love of Mike" (1960).
