Obituary - Faribault Daily News - 16 Feb 1971. "FRANK E. MALECHA VESELI (Special) - Funeral services for Frank E. Malecha, 64, of Montgomery, formerly of Veseli, were held on Feb. 5 from the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Veseli with the Rev. Richard Skluzacek officiating. Members of the St. Cecelia Choir of Veseli offered the vocal accompaniment. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery at Veseli. Roger Malecha, Francis Novak and John Ceplecha of Veseli, and Harvey Honza, Donald Korbel and George Korbel of Montgomery were pallbearers. Frank E. Malecha passed away on Feb. 2 at the Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague. He was born on Oct. 5, 1906, in Wheatland Township, Rice County, the son of Frank L. Malecha and Anastasia Malecha. He farmed in Wheatland Township most of his life and was an extensive turkey grower for many years. Frank Malecha was married to Bessie Honza in Montgomery and she preceded him in death on June 4, 1943. His second marriage was to Emily Korbel who survives him. He was a member of the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Veseli. His parents preceded him in death and one sister, Mrs. Blanche Novak. Relatives and friends attended from Faribault, Montgomery, Jordan, Twin Cities, Webster, Northfield, Lonsdale and surrounding communities."
