Ralph M. Hocker, 86, of the Lebanon Valley Home of United Church of Christ, Annville, formerly of Hummelstown, died Monday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
He retired from Hall's Motor Transit; was a graduate of the former Lower Paxton High School; a member and past master of F&AM Lodge 629; a former instructor for the Harrisburg Masonic District School of Instruction; and a member of Colonial Park United Church of Christ, its Men's Bible Class and Friendship Club, Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Shrine Temple and its Luncheon Club and Ushers Unit.
Surviving are his wife, Erma Hocker; a stepdaughter, Shirley Clark of Harrisburg; three stepsons, Robert Shellenhamer of Hummelstown, Harold Shellenhamer of York and James Shellenhamer of Palmyra; and two sisters, Jennie E. Gipe of Lebanon and Violet Lewis of Baltimore.
