LEON E. BLOCH, SR.
Leon E. Bloch, Sr., 95, of 414 West 58th St., a retired lawyer, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, at Menorah Medical Center. Born in Minneapolis, Ks., he had lived here for 82 years.
Mr. Bloch was a member of Temple B'nai Jehudah, and had been a president of B'nai B'rith Lodge. He was a member of the Scottish Rite and a life member of the Ararat Shrine.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hortense Bloch, and a son, Leon Bloch, Jr., both of the home; 2 other sons, Henry W. Bloch of 6400 Wenonga Terr., president of the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City, and Richard L. Bloch, of 6315 Ward Parkway; 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday at Temple B'nai Jehudah; burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were by Stine & McClure Chapel.
