Washington - In the bounds of the Washington church, Washington, D. C., Feb. 19,
1897, Sister Laura, wife of Bro. Hampton H. Washington, aged 43 years. They
formerly lived in Edom, Rockingham Co., Va. Deceased was the daughter of Isaac
and Emma Rinehardt. She suffered over four years with cancer. She requested her
remains to be interred in the Linnville [Linville] Creek graveyard. The body
arrived here on Saturday evening. Funeral services on Monday, by Bro. Albert
Hollinger, assisted by brethren M. B. E. Kline and David H. Zigler, from Isa.
