Remains at the home of son, 1626 Golden Gate avenue, between Scott and Devisadero streets. Internment Cypress Lawn Cemetery, by carriage.

Nancy Jane Brown lived in Multnomah County, Oregon, when she married Henry Clay Dray in 1865. They had two children: William Franklin Dray and Sarah Eugenia Dray. Nancy divorced Henry in 1876 at Portland. She subsequently married the widower, Rev. Calvin Homer Dray. in 1879 at Cowlitz County, Washington.
Mother: Rebecca Malinda Swayze Brown.
Father: Alexander Monroe Brown, Sr.
It is thought that Nancy was born while her family was traversing the Oregon Trail to Multnomah County, Oregon.
