At the time of his death at his home, Kenny was 64 years, 6 months and 27 days old. He was survived by his wife, Jerry; 1 brother, Archie Lee Hanks; and 1 sister, Velma Bourland.
Visitation was held after 4 p.m. on 11 May 1979 at Hanks Funeral Home in Hardin. Funeral services were conducted there at 1:30 p.m. the following afternoon. American Legion services took place graveside at Hardin City Cemetery.
The family requested that memorials, if desired, be made to the Calhoun Ambulance Fund.
