• Andrew Madison (Matt) Sullivan of the Fernvale Community, 91, died on Tuesday, Jan. 17, in Portland at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wilson (Eddean) Gregory, after a short illness. He was a native of Williamson County, and the son of the late Henry and Molly Magrum Sullivan. He was a retired farmer.
Other survivors are: daughters, Mrs. Walter (Lillian) Inman, Mrs. Horace (Marjorie) Edgmon, Mrs. Elbert (Trudy) Heithcock, Mrs. Roy (Mary) Sweeney, all of Franklin, Mrs. Molly Davis, Old Hickory; sons, Wiley C. Sullivan, Nashville, Donald Bruce (Pete) Sullivan, Round Rock, Tx.; sisters, Mrs. Maudy Pewitt, Franklin, Mrs. Margaret Bruce, Nashville, Mrs. Cora Nix, Springfield, Mrs. Etta Dugan, Nashville, Mrs. Zella Sheperd, Mrs. Grace Overby, all of Nashville; 21 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
Franklin Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements on Thursday, Jan. 19, with the Reverend J. W. Shoulders officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Grandsons served as active pallbearers
