Frederick Henry Buchmiller was born in Helena Montana the son of Charles and Emma (Hullman) Buchmiller. Fred was baptized in the Episcopal Church in 1922, and was active in the Episcopal Church through out his life. Fred graduated from Helena High School and in 1939 he married Bernice V. Schmidt. They moved to Sunnyside in 1945 when Fred joined Killingstad Brothers Hardware where he worked until the store closed in 1980. Fred and Bernice rasied their family in Sunnyside where Fred served on the vestry and as Jr. Warden of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Fred was an avid bow hunter and fisherman, he loved the outdoors.
