Heart Disease Cause of Death of Good Woman.
Barry, March 5 -- Miss Mattie McDaniel died at her home here Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock, aged 63 years. Heart disease was the cause of death. She had been suffering from this affliction for the last two years, but death was sudden, when it came.
The dead woman had spent nearly all her life in this community. She was a member of the Baptist church, and was a good woman in all that the word implies. She had countless friends in the town, and in the surrounding country, who will mourn her death with a sense of personal loss.
Miss McDaniels leaves two brothers and three sisters. They are Henry of New York City, William of Barry, Miss Nannie McDaniel and Mrs. H. H. Thompson of Barry, and Mrs. H. M. Jones of Wisconsin.
