A funeral service for Mrs. Beaufort Cheek Neal, 99 a resident of Warren Hills Retirement Home, was conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at Warrenton Baptist Church by the Rev. Jody Wright. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Warrenton.
A Warren County native, she was born Dec. 10, 1894 the daughter of the late Thaddeus Augustus Cheek and Elizabeth Pitchford Cheek. A retired homemaker, she was a member of Warrenton Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Willis F. Neal she died Friday, April 22 at Warren Hills Retirement Home.
Survivors include one daughter, Cybil N. Flavel of Jensen Beach, Fla; one son Clinton H. Neal of Warrenton; one sister Elizabeth Galloway of Greensboro; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Warrenton Baptist Church.
