Mary Evelyn Greear, 83, of Kansas City, Kan., formerly of Ballard County, died Saturday, October 8th at her home. She is survived by four sons, Kenneth Walker of Kansas City, John Greear of St. George, Utah, Carl Greear Jr. of Arlington, Texas, and Russell Greear of Lansing, Mich.; four daughters, Barbara Greear of La Center, Dorothy Taylor of West Paducah, Catherine Goode of Murray, and Patricia Marcotte of Azle, Texas; one brother, Ben Modrell of Denver; one half-brother, Russell Creed of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one half-sister, Gertrude Lee of Kansas City; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Greear Sr.; three brothers; and her parents, Harold and Maude May Modrell. Graveside services were held at Woodville Cemetery in Kevil with Cindy Engelhardt officiating. Morrow Funeral Chapel in Kevil is handling arrangements.
