A. C. Bierman's Rites In Dallas - Private funeral services for Alfred Charles Bierman, 66, a consulting geologist who had lived at 1017 W. First St., will be held in Dallas. Mr. Bierman died in a Tyler hospital Monday morning after a long illness. He was born in Springfield, Minn;, and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1914. He had lived in Texas 40 years, 30 of which were in Tyler. Mr. Bierman was a Presbyterian, a member of the American Assn. of Petroleum Geologists for 40 years and was a registered engineer. He served in World War 1 in the coast artillery and later as a staff officer in France. He had done oil exploration in South and Central America, Canada and Mexico.. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Audrey Borden Bierman; a son, John B. Bierman of Victoria; two grandchildren: a sister, Mrs. Albert Martin of Montgomery, Ala.; and three brothers, Bernard W.
