Soloman Ahn, died on Sunday night at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Sarah Eck, No. 124 South Tenth Street, after a nine weeks illness with dropsy. The deceased was born in Maxatawny Township, Berk County and was 80 years of age. He was a farmer by occupation, but retired some years ago. Six months ago he moved to Allentown, and took up his residence with his sister. The following children survive: Mrs. Sarah Eck and Edward Ahn of Allentown; William, Charles, and Jacob Ahn of Topton; Mrs. Soloman Hilbert of Shamrock, and John Ahn of Ohio. Twenty-two grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren also survive. The funeral will take place Wednesday. The remains will be taken to Kutztown, where Rev. Leinback will conduct the service.
