Mrs. George W. Redfearn died at her home in Rockford Satuday, Feb. 9th, 1924, and was buried here in the New Diggings Cemetery at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Mrs. Redfearn, whose maiden name was Janey Fowler, was born here in New Diggings where she grew to womanhood, and after she and Mr. Redfearn were married they moved to the Redfearn farm just south of town where they lived until a few years ago, when they moved to Rockford, Ill., to take life easy.
The family consisting of Mr. Redfearn, Alice, May, Ethel, Almeda and one son John, were all present at the funeral, who with scores of her relatives, have the sympathy of the neighborhood in their sad bereavement.
