They lived in Ogden, Utah, where they raised their children. They later moved back to Preston. She worked at Wansgards Food Center in the bakery where she had many friends. She later worked at Presto, where she retired. She also worked at the Heritage Home in Preston. She loved to have her hair done by her sister and it gave her time to be with family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Clea was very loving and giving to all around her. She resided at the Franklin County Transitional Care Center in Preston where she had lived for six years. She was loved by all there. She loved her family and loved the knick-knacks that they brought her. Clea loved to read and going to the library every week to get books.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Dennis) Parry, of Ogden, Utah; Debra (Robert) Fitzgerald, of Tremonton, Utah; and Michael Taylor, of Preston, Idaho; a brother Glenn (Beth) Page, of Montpelier, Idaho; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, and sisters Marilynn (Dale) Waddoups, and Joann (Boyd) Golightly, of Preston, Idaho; step-children Janet (Lynn) Millard, of Ogden, Utah; Patty Swainston, of Newton, Utah; Elaine Swainston, of Logan, Utah; and Nathan (Phillis) Swainston, of San Rafael, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands LaMar and Rhyl, and a son Alan Swainston.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at Webb Funeral Home in Preston. A viewing was held Sunday at Webb Funeral Home, and Monday also at the funeral home. Interment was in the Preston Cemetery.
