FARMER VICTIM OF PNEUMONIA - Harry Mack Waddell, a lifelong resident of Lauramie township, died at his home near Stockwell at 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon from pneumonia. He has been sick but a few days and his demise came as a great shock to his many friends throughout Tippecanoe county. The deceased was born in Lauramie township on March 21, 1863, and was educated in the public schools of the community. Being reared on a farm, his entire life was spent in agricultural work and he was looked upon as one of the most successful farmers in the county. His marriage to Miss Harriett A. Nydegger took place March 9, 1893, and to this union ten children were born, one dying in infancy. The deceased was a republican in politics and took an active interest in his party affiliations although he never ran for office. He was a member of the Clark's Hill chapter of the Modern Woodmen of America. Besides the widow, he is survived by one brother, William, of San Jose, Calif., and the following sons and daughters all of whom reside at home: Walter, Luther, Daniel, Gaylord, Oscar, Virgil, Florence, Vernie and Dorothy. Arrangements for the funeral will not be made until word is received from his brother in California.
