VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Adam Carlos Corona, 12, will be held at
11 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church here with burial in
Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.
Adam, a resident of Ville Platte and a native of Lake Charles, died at 1:31
p.m. Monday, September 3, 2001, in Ville Platte Medical Center. He attended
College Oaks Elementary in Lake Charles and was currently attending James
Stephens Elementary in Ville Platte.
Survivors include: his father, George Corona of Lake Charles; his mother,
Brenda Brown Corona of Ville Platte; his paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Carmen Corona of Woodland, Calif.; his paternal grandparents, Raymond
Corona of Mission, Texas, and Frances Corona of Santa Clara, Calif.; his
maternal grandparents, Rogers and Joyce Brown of Ville Platte; and two
sisters, Kimberly Marie Corona and Marilyn Kay Corona, both of Ville Platte.
Visiting hours will be observed from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and from 8
a.m. Thursday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
