Harold (Harry) Ashley Hollinger, son of Jason and Elzina Shields Hollinger, was born January 20, 1883 and died at the Axtel Hospital, Princeton, Missouri on September 25, 1965.
He was united in marriage to Lilly Maude Orey (Maude) on April 10, 1905. He was born, married and lived his entire life on the same farm in Morgan Township, Decatur County, Iowa.
He and his wife celbrated their 60th anniversay on April 10, 1965.
To this union five children were born. Those surviving are his wife, and three children; Bernard J. Hollinger, Lineville; Elsie E. Jones, Trenton, Missouri; and Myrtle A. Andrew, Pleasanton; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Elmer B. in infancy; S. Miles in 1959; two brothers, Buford and Clyde Hollinger and one grandson, Frank D. Jones.
