Zeno William SCHULTZ, 84, of 1853 S. Indiana 19, Akron, died unexpectedly at 5:45 p.m. Friday at his daughter's Macy residence.

Born in Wabash County, he was the son of William Jayhawker Schultz and Cleo Ellen Shambaugh Schultz. He graduated from Laketon High School and served in the U.S. Air Corps during World War II.

He married Patricia Lou Alger on Aug. 22, 1954, in Springville, and she survives. He farmed and hauled livestock. He attended Akron Church of God.

In addition to his wife, Patty Schultz, Akron, he is survived by three daughters, Charlotte and husband Duane Hammond, Akron, Mary Jo and husband John Riffle, Macy, and Jo Ellen Dunn and companion Scott Seagrave, Columbia City; eight grandchildren, Arissa Hammond, Vanessa Hammond, Trevor Hammond, Andrea Riffle, Jessica and husband Brad Farrell, Tyler Schultz, John Henry Riffle, Holly Dunn; two great-grandchildren, Luna and Devan Chandler; a sister, Mary Jareque, Midland, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Olive Harshbarger.

His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Akron Church of God, 301 S. West St., Akron, with Pastor Terry Canfield officiating. Burial will be at Akron Cemetery, Akron. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron. Memorials may be made to Akron Church of God.
