SALISBURY, Mo. -- James Reineke, 75, Salisbury, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001 at a hospital in Moberly, Mo. Born on June 30, 1925, Mr. Reineke lived most of his youth in the community of Barry, Mo., in Platte County as a farmer. He was in the Navy. He was preceded in death by a son, James E.; a daughter, Betsy M.; his parents, Walter and Geneva; and a brother, Walter K. Surviving: a son, Bruce Smith, Warsaw, Mo.; three brothers, Irvin and Danny, Platte City, Mo., David, Dolores, Colo.; a sister, Ida Cox, Platte City; and five grandchildren. The body has been cremated. Memorial service will be held at the Platte City Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements: Rollins Funeral Home, Platte City.
