Mrs. Schlottmann was born Nov. 17, 1915, in the Cedar Hill community of Washington County, Texas, to Gus and Louisa (Gindorf) Spinn. She was baptized Jan. 9, 1916, at St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill and was confirmed April 13, 1930, in the same church. She attended Cedar Hill School.

On Dec. 10, 1936, she was married to Willie Schlottmann, Jr. in St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill. She was a homemaker and seamstress. Mrs. Schlottmann was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Vernell and Dale Carnagey of Brenham; three grandchildren, Jonathan and Tierra Carnagey, Joanna and Paul Reyna III and Philip and Joyce Carnagey; four great-grandchildren, Jonathan Carnagey, Taylor Carnagey, Jordan Reyna and Makenzie Reyna; sister-in-law, Ruby Schlottmann, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Schlottmann, Jr., on Jan. 2, 1991; four sisters; two brothers; and two infant brothers.
