Mr. Lancaster was born Dec. 30, 1897, in Trinity County and died Friday after a long illness. A former resident of Lufkin, he has resided in Diboll for four years. He was a retired pile driver and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Doylene Cook; brothers, Claude and Deck Lancaster; sisters, Mrs. Bithey Arnold and Mrs. Winnie Moran; 5 grandchildren.
