Services for Crit Lancaster, 78, of 824 Nelson St., Diboll, were conducted Friday in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph E. Dufner officiating and interment in the Trevat Cemetery.
Mr. Lancaster was born Dec. 30, 1897, in Trinity County and died Friday after a long illness. A former resident of Lufkin, he has resided in Diboll for four years. He was a retired pile driver and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Doylene Cook; brothers, Claude and Deck Lancaster; sisters, Mrs. Bithey Arnold and Mrs. Winnie Moran; 5 grandchildren.
