After a week's illness at Lamar Hospital here, Mrs. Dennis T. Elliott of Minter, the former Miss Bettie A. Ball, died Tuesday morning at 9:45 o'clock.
The funeral service, conducted by the Rev. Walter G. Horn of Central Presbyterian Church, was set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers were Paul Crawford, L. L. Jeffus of Deport; Thomas Watson of Blossom; Harry Ball, Charles Ball and John David Ball.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Elliott leaves two brothers, Albis E. Ball and J. W. Ball, both of Minter, and 11 nieces and nephews.
She was born at Biardstown, June 25, 1880, daughter of A. E. Ball and his wife, who was Miss Lucy J. Yancey of Biardstown. She and Mr. Ball were married Nov. 4, 1904.
